Cycle rally to increase nutrition awareness held The Tribune India

To achieve a malnutrition-free Chandigarh, the Department of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, UT, is celebrating the third ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’, 2020.
During the celebration, nutrition awareness activities are being conducted from September 1 and will continue till the end of this month.
In continuation of diverse activities, a cycle rally to fight against anaemia, ‘Pedalling for a cause’, was organised at Mauli Jagran today where people, especially pregnant women and adolescent girls, were made aware about anaemia. They were encouraged to increase vitamin C intake and eat more and more green vegetables. — TNS
